Dr. S. K. Prasad has done MD in medicine and then he has gone through Post Graduate Advance Course (PGAC) in Internal Diseases (Medicine) and Post Graduate Course of Specialization (PGCS) in Cardiology.

After this he was inclined to Scientific Research Work in the field of Cardiology and successfully completed his Ph.D. degree in Medical Sciences (Cardiology).
The topic of his Ph.D. thesis is Clinical Manifestations of the Angina Pectoris and Intra-Cardiac Hemodynamic of Patients of Drug Therapy with Plasmapheresis (PLASMA EXCHANGE THERAPY)
